We live in a society where women are confined within four walls. Even, if they work they are getting fewer wages comparatively to male workers. However, in our factory women are provided with an opportunity to enter a world of economic independence and dignity.
We started by giving training to marginalized women so that they can support themselves, their families and communities. We strongly believe that women have the capacity to transform their communities and the world around them.
From being called as a vulnerable and financially deprived, women have now excelled in this particular field and are regarded as curators and leaders for conserving our country’s rich heritage and craftsmanship through natureknit.
We focus mainly on women empowerment, which ultimately helps them to secure their future. With this knowledge they can ensure their children’s education, transform their lives and provide a safe life. So, the workers here are getting double benefit.
We believe that education is crucial for uplifting the living condition of women, and are providing education to their children. Furthermore, all staff is offered health care and medical treatment. Nature Knit is supporting their children in tuition fees as well. The children of today are the leaders of tomorrow- which is why it is essential to help them be themselves.
Since, most of the workers are women; we aspire to remarkably change the condition of women in our society. Right from the beginning, we are primarily comprised with the female employees, as it is one of the core responsibilities of taking care of the female headed house hold in the society.
